Terms and Conditions                                                                  

 

 

Booking System

The place is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure a place in a class, please email to book your space. An invoice will then be sent to you. Once we have received payment, your booking is confirmed.

 

Place in Classes

Term classes must be booked and paid for in advance. The place is secured once payment has been received.

 

Class Fees

Your child is welcome to join us at any time throughout the term. Class fees are charged termly. If your child joins Messy Art 4 Kids partway through the term, fees will then be calculated on a pro-rata basis.

 

Payments

The full cost of booked classes, minus any agreed discounts must be paid by the end of the first booked session.

You can pay by cash or by electronic transfer which is free.

 

Refunds Policy

Term classes are not refundable unless Messy Art 4 Kids is unable to run the classes.

We cannot guarantee make-up classes, but we will endeavour to find a suitable class where possible. We might suggest a holiday class, art kit or pre-recorded art session.

 

Discounts

All discounts must be claimed at the time of your booking. No retrospective discounts or refunds will be offered.

 

Siblings

We offer a 10% discount for second siblings who join us at any time of the term. The discount applies to term class with lower price.

 

Recommend a Friend

If you recommend Messy Art 4 Kids to a friend who then makes a term booking, you will receive a 5% discount with your next booking. (excludes holiday classes). 

 

Free Trial

We offer one free trial session for a new child. This session must be booked in advance.

Drop off class

When your child is comfortable being left at the club, you are welcome to drop them off at theirs. You must provide us with your contact details and in case of calling you, you will be able to come back in 10minutes.

​

Holiday Workshops

Each day we offer different art and craft activities to avoid repetition for those children attending more than one class.

​

Holiday workshops are drop off sessions only, your child must be age of 3. You can stay a little bit longer to settle your child in.

​

We provide snacks but you are welcome to bring your own snack if you would prefer - no sweets, please!

If your child going to miss a holiday class for any reason would be helpful to know as we have waiting lists. If your child is unable to attend booked class we do not offer refunds but we can occasionally offer a 'makeup' session. Please note that this is not guaranteed and is only possible where we are able to find space in a suitable class.

 

We offer 10% discounts for 2nd siblings.

Sickness Policy

Please do not bring your child to your Messy Art 4 Kids class if they are suffering from a contagious infection of any sort. This also applies to the carer who is attending with the child as well as to any siblings who may be off school due to illness and attending as a one off with their well sibling.

Attending Classes

If you are unable to attend your booked class on a regular basis, please talk to me about it. It may be possible for you to occasionally visit a different class, or to transfer to a different session. However, please consult me before doing so.

 

Can we carry over money from missed classes to the next term?

Sorry, this is not possible. We guarantee our classes will be delivered to you as scheduled.

 

Can I bring a friend or a sibling to the class?

Please do not bring friends along unannounced. If we have spaces in the class, they are welcome to attend but they need to book directly with us, they have to be in a similar age group.

Parents' conduct

We find that the classes work best when your child has your support when needed in projects. If you join in your child is more likely to join in.

Please try to avoid using mobile phones and please ensure that your social conversations do not intrude upon the class.

Please refrain from chatting during the session. Children can be easily destructed and they enjoy the class more if it's calm and quiet in the room. We would love you to join in with the art activities, story/ singing time, messy play and encourage your child.

Please refrain from feeding your child snack in the class unless is absolutely necessary e.g. diabetes etc.

Photos and Videos

We will occasionally take photographs of your child's art or craft. We will always ask for your permission. The pictures will be used only for for purpose of promoting the Messy Art 4 Kids.

Parents and carers please do not record the session or take pictures of any other children that it isn't yours. Before taking any pictures please speak with one of the teachers.

Clothing

Please be aware that we can get very messy so please dress your children appropriately! We do try as much as possible to use water basic products. We do have smocks available but please bring your own if you wish. Messy Art 4 Kids takes no responsibility for damage to clothing.

 

Contact

It is your responsibility to ensure that we have current contact details for you and all adults authorised to pick up your child. You must also keep us informed of any changes in the health or other relevant circumstances of your child so that we can assume responsibility for your child during the session.

 

Confidentiality

Messy Art 4 Kids collects information about customers and potential customers. The purpose of collecting this information is to keep you informed about classes, news, events and to contact you while accidents or emergencies. Messy Art 4 Kids is committed to protecting your privacy- we guarantee not to pass your details and information on to third parties.

 

Complaints Procedure

We are committed to you finding that your class meets or exceed your expectations and that you are happy enough to recommend the Messy Art 4 Kids to all your friends. If you are unsatisfied with anything about the classes, please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss it further.

 

Exclusion

In the event that we consider:

Your behavior towards us, other customers, children in their care or our employees is inappropriate, consistently negligent (including late collection of your child) or likely to bring us or any of our products or services into disrepute, we reserve the right to exclude your child from our class.
